Candera Sales Manager (m/f/x)

Position Overview:
Candera is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business development and revenue growth in the Italian and French automotive markets. In this national sales role, you will engage with key decision-makers at OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, promote Candera’s HMI tools, and expand the company’s market presence. You will represent Candera at conferences, work closely with cross-functional teams in Europe, Asia and USA, and contribute to long-term strategic planning.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Significant national (Italian/French) software sales experience in the HMI sector, ideally with 10+ years in automotive, embedded software, or related technical environments
- Strong existing network with key decision-makers at OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers in Italy and/or France
- Proven track record in business development, sales strategy execution, and successful deal closing
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify market trends and convert them into business opportunities
- Experience in team creation and leadership is a strong advantage
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM field (e.g., computer science, engineering, physics) or a business discipline combined with strong technical expertise
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow top-line revenue in Italy and France, focusing on major automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers
- Present Candera’s HMI technologies convincingly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Explain project-related TCO and ROI, ensuring stakeholders clearly understand the value proposition
- Conduct in-depth market and competitive analyses for the national automotive HMI software landscape
- Develop business strategies, go-to-market plans, and identify new opportunities in adjacent embedded markets
- Attend and represent Candera at key industry exhibitions and conferences
- Collaborate with product development teams in Austria to optimize outcomes
- Establish, maintain, and strategically expand customer relationships
- Future potential to build and manage a regional sales team
- Provide structured reporting and revenue planning aligned with Candera headquarters
